"Try helping, It's the feeling you can't get elsewhere." - Manzil Foundation

 

"Its just been 3 months and we’ve raised more than Rs. 5,00,00 INR, collared 1000 stray dogs, fed more than 5,000 dogs and donated 1,000 sanitary pads to underprivileged girls”

A newfound NGO in the city, Manzil Foundation, founded by youths of Nagpur city, Ankur Pachisia, Hiten Muniyal, Salif Khan and Jiya Jaisingh and their team have been working tirelessly since the last couple of months for bettering the lives of stray dogs from the daily abuse and starvation they suffer.

Manzil Foundation was established on 19th June 2020 that aims towards achieving the well-being of all, following the motto ‘Everyone Matters’.

It works on several projects supporting this motto, for issues that concern every living being including humans, plants and animals. Their aim is to bring together as many issues as they can, and project by project, with each little step, do what they can through our community to help our society!

In just 3 months of working, their team is dispersed in Nagpur, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Jabalpur, Raipur and expanding to various other cities in India as well.

Manzil Foundation has collared over 1000 dogs in the city with reflective collars that luminate & reflect light from vehicles in pitch dark conditions so as to prevent accidents resulting in their deaths.

They also feed over 2000 dogs in Nagpur city every weekend and work to save them off starvation.

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti earlier this week, they gave away dog food of worth INR 25,000 to 10 local people who have been feeding stray dogs selflessly from years.

The organization also works for women & girl child welfare. They have distributed free sanitary pads to over a 1000 women in the last 2 months and are exponentially increasing to do so going forward. They also fancy working for the welfare of cows and plan to contribute significantly to cow shelters in the future too!
