To All the Men, It's Okay to be Soft

 

"Kids are like clay; they way you model them, the exact they become."
After reading and narrating this line for a while I came to the conclusion where I finally found the answer of "Why men are not soft?"
And simultaneously a question banged the door of my hear "Is this their fault?"

I grew up in a joint family, precisely. Though we didn't encounter "discrimination" against being a boy or a girl but for sure I remember few people talking about how "he" is too soft to handle when he was just like me!

Do you realize how clay is too soft to mould? From dragons to humans we can create anything out of them..

Once dry, they are hard and even if we try our best we just can't make them soft again..
Though our outer body is just a source through which we transfer our emotions, we somehow are bounded by that. In our society females are assumed to be soft but when this same society watch a man with sensitive moves, soft approach they just call or let's say bully him by considering him as "not-so-manly". When we consider objectification, we forget that how men are compared with mountains and rocks, we don't need special abilities to realise that men are always compared to things which are hard and solid in nature, we depict the stronger side of nature and also the side which is considered as not-so-emotional one. Objectification of men have gone too far, many men now consider sitting on their feelings rather than sharing them as their impulsive move.

The toxicity our society provides to men is harming men from inside, man to man friendship becomes soo poisonous for some because it's now our part of culture to laugh on someone's problem, especially when it's a male companion.

When a man says that he's hurt, 90% of people say him to drink and forget it off! Why? Men can't be soft.. well!

When we suppress things, they come out heavy and destructive. Men suicide because of social pressure..

"What will they say" is the poison.

When you taunt, when you laugh, when you bully someone for the way they are. They become hard and that is destructive..

Men find it difficult to express because they have been told to keep everything inside them, starting from feelings to soft gestures, everything!!!

Let me tell you, it's beautiful when men express. It's beautiful when they smile, it's beautiful when they let the garden grow in their hearts and gift everyone flowers..

Let them be how they want to be..

Don't destroy them.
